Manitou Weather Station Fishing Lodge is very unique as they have combined luxurious accommodations with the remote adventure of a fly-in. You can also boat to their lodge but it's a trip. They are located on Lower Manitou Lake, which is stuffed with Smallmouth Bass. Smallmouth Bass are common in the 1 to 4 pound range but their guests catch lots of 5,6 and 7-pound bass. They also have outstanding Lake Trout fishing. Not only can you catch tons of Lake Trout, they have guests catching big 20-pounders. Some guests have caught their limit right off the dock.
