Clearwater Lodge: Largemouth Bass in our lakes are usually in the 1 to 4 pound range. If you concentrate on Largemouth Bass fishing you should catch a couple in the 5 or 6-pound range during the week. There are bass in the 8 to 10 pound range in the lake but those are very rare anywhere in Ontario. You cannot expect to catch a Largemouth Bass that big but you are more than welcome to prove us wrong. Since our guests spend very little time fishing for Largemouth, we really do not know the lake's full potential. Mid afternoon Largemouth Bass fishing is a nice break from the morning Walleye fishing, especially if you are not interested in Pike or Muskie.
