They have great fishing for Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike, Smallmouth bass, Largemouth Bass and Catfish. Walleyes can be found in good numbers with good eating sizes up to trophy 10-pounders. Muskie on Lake Nipissing and the French River can get to be mammoth in size with Muskie in the 45 to 55-inch range caught every year. The back weedy bays are stuffed with Northern Pike and Largemouth Bass. Northern Pike can be found in all sizes up to 20 pounds. Largemouth Bass can reach 8 pounds. The rocky points and shoals are home to Smallmouth Bass, which are large in numbers and common in the 2 to 4 pound range with a few bigger ones in the 5 to 6-pound range being caught.
