Wabigoon Lake is considered one of the top fishing destinations in Ontario due to the seemingly inexhaustible bounty of trophy Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass. It's also considered the top lake in Ontario for the combination of Walleye and Muskie fishing. Our guests not only catch lots of fish; many guests catch fish far larger than they ever expected and in good numbers. Walleyes reach over 10 pounds with lots of smaller good eating sizes. Muskie over 50 inches are caught by guests every year. Pine Cliff Lodge is located between Sioux Lookout and Dryden, Ontario and on Sandybeach Lake, which is also known as Big Sand Lake. Pine Cliff Lodge offers the very best Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Lake Trout Fishing in Ontario. There are no Walleye in their lake thus the lake gets next to no fishing pressure. They have portage lakes that are stuff with Walleye but their main attraction in the bass, pike and trout fishing. Smallmouth Bass are extremely common with many trophies and Master Angler Smallmouth caught every day by guests. There is also a high population of Smelt and Suckers in the lake. As a result they have super-sized Northern Pike and Lake Trout. Northern Pike in the 40+ inch range are caught every week with a few Pike over 50 inches. Their lake also boasts a line-class world record Northern Pike. Lake Trout in the lake get massive. Lake Trout over 10 pounds seem the norm with many 20+ pound Lakers being caught and released. Birch Dale Lodge is located on Eagle Lake, south of Waldhof and Vermilion Bay and just west of Dryden. They have outstanding fishing for Smallmouth Bass. In the spring, the main location for spawning is right near their camp. You can catch your limit in a couple of minutes. People go there for the trophies. Smallmouth Bass are common in the 1 to 4-pound range with many 5,6 and 7-pound Smallmouth Being Caught. Pine Sunset Lodge is located near the village of Dinorwic, between Dryden and Ignace Obtario, and on the famous Dinorwic Lake. They have outstanding fishing for Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Perch. Dinorwic Lake is attached to Wabigoon Lake via the Wabigoon River. Smallmouth Bass are common in the 2 to 5-pound range but Smallmouth Bass get as big as 7 pounds. Walleyes reach 12 pounds, Muskie over 50 inches are caught by guests each year. The bays and rocky points are swarming with Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass and ranging from good eating sizes right up to monster trophies. The have boat caches on wilderness lakes for excellent Walleye and Lake Trout fishing. The have clean housekeeping cottages, which range in size to accommodate groups of 2 to 16 people. They also have a campgrounds for both RVs and tents.

Manitou Weather Station Fishing Lodge is very unique as they have combined luxurious accommodations with the remote adventure of a fly-in. You can also boat to their lodge but it's a trip. They are located on Lower Manitou Lake, which is stuffed with Smallmouth Bass. Smallmouth Bass are common in the 1 to 4 pound range but their guests catch lots of 5,6 and 7-pound bass. They also have outstanding Lake Trout fishing. Not only can you catch tons of Lake Trout, they have guests catching big 20-pounders. Some guests have caught their limit right off the dock. Lower Manitou Lake is also stuffed with monster size Muskie with fish as big as 50-inches. They also have excellent fishing for Northern Pike. This is a really awesome place to go fishing. Their web site tells it all. You can also boat to their lodge if you want to use your own boat. There are no towns anywhere near them. Camp Manitou is located on Lower Manitou Lake, which is a fantastic bass lake. The rocky points and shoals are swarming with Smallmouth Bass with them being common in the 1 to 5-pound range. The weedy bays have big Largemouth Bass. Largemouth Bass are not as common because their babies get eaten by Pike and Smallmouth but the ones that make it to maturity get big. Lower Manitou Lake is also stuffed with Muskie, Lake Trout and Northern Pike. Sioux Lookout Floating Lodges is located near Sioux Lookout and on the shores of Lac Seul. Lac Seul is one of the best Smallmouth bass and Walleye fishing lakes in the world. Smallmouth Bass are common in the 2 to 5-pound range with trophy bass as big as 7 pounds available. High numbers of Walleyes including big fat trophy Walleyes up to 10 pounds are common with a few 15 to 20-pound Walleyes reported every year. Lac Seul also has outstanding Muskie with 2x 60-inches reported in 2008, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass fishing. Accommodations are on giant 68-foot houseboats, which are called Floating Lodges. Houseboats are equipped with a special multi-fishing-boat towing system so you can literally find hotspots and camp there as long as you want. You can explore the lake without having to drive all the way back to a camp at night. The houseboats are fully equipped and just as impressive as the fantastic fishing.
