Happy Day Lodge is located on Windermere Lake, which is one of the best fishing lakes in the Chapleau area. Walleye fishing is excellent for both high numbers and trophy size. There are also lots of Smallmouth Bass ranging from small to large trophies off all the rock points. The lake is just swarming with Walleye and Smallmouth bass. What makes Windermere Lake unique and a top lake is the monster Northern Pike and massive Lake Trout. Both Northern Pike and Lake Trout over 20 pounds are caught on a regular basis with 25-pound and even 30-pound pike and trout caught throughout the summer. Northern Walleye Lodge is a housekeeping lodge located near the outpost settlement of Missanabie, Ontario, which is north of Wawa and Chapleau and on the western edge of Missanabie Provincial Park. They are located on Dog Lake, which has fantastic fishing. The camp is known for its amazing Walleye and Northern Pike fishing. Excellent Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Lake Trout, Brook Trout and whitefish fishing is also available. The camp is changing it's name to Northern Walleye Lodge.

Fox's Den Lodge
is located on the famous Dog Lake, which is considered one of the top Walleye and Lake Trout lakes in Ontario and also boasts outstanding Northern Pike, Perch and Smallmouth Bass fishing. Dog Lake is fed by the Lochalsh River and the Dog River and is the headwaters for the Michipicoten River. The lake is constantly supplied with fresh nutrient water and is literally a game-fish factory. Walleyes are plentiful and are available in all sizes including 10lbs+ trophies. Lake Trout are common in the 5 to 15lbs range but grow to monster sizes with 30lbs+ being caught. Northern Pike are common in the 5 to 15 pound range with 20lbs trophies being caught and released throughout the spring, summer and fall. 3 and 4lbs Smallmouth Bass are common and found all along the shore and overtop of shoals. All this great fishing is complemented by relaxing in warm and cozy lakefront cabins with all the comforts of home. Cabins are fully equipped for housekeeping.

Wassiagomin Lodge
is located in beautiful Lochalsh Bay on Dog Lake and not too far from the outpost settlement of Missanabie in Ontario. Dog Lake has awesome fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch and Lake Trout. The Lochalsh Bay area is deeper than other parts of the lake thus producing more Walleye and Lake Trout and bigger Walleye and Lake Trout. All species of fish are common in all sizes but Dog Lake’s claim to fame is the availability of trophies. Walleyes reach over 10 pounds. Lake Trout reach over 30 pounds. Pike get over 20 pounds and Smallmouth Bass in the 3 to 5 pound range are common with the odd 6-pounder being caught. There is also great Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass fishing. It’s just a short boat ride to another part of the lake where Pike and Bass are more common and found in great sizes. Wassiagomin Lodge offers fully equipped and private lakefront housekeeping cottages that range in size to accommodate both small and large groups.
